General Description
Administer the Customer Risk Ranking - Dynamic Customer Insight (DCI) System, maintain the common risks, controls, process and organizational structure catalogs updated for Banco Popular de Puerto Rico & Popular Community Bank. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to DCI, identifying interdependencies and trends. Support the development of projects that promote good governance and efficiencies in risk management through Corporate Compliance.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Information System, Statistics and/or Mathematics.
Experience
Experience working with troubleshooting in specific applications. Experience in working directly with external vendors to resolve internal issues. Experience in programming and SQL is desirable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Apply statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data to provide usable information
Course work in data analysis, Programming, Probability, and Statistics.
Data modeling and validation to have tendencies results in future application errors.
Knowledge in Access and other programming languages such as SQL, highly desirable.
Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques required
General knowledge of laws, regulations and practices applicable to the financial industry, financial markets, financial analysis, and reporting of financial data.
Provides analytical support and documents models as per model validation requirements.
Excellent organization skills, able to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to analyze business results, to identify problems and propose solutions.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Perform required periodic User Certifications
Identify solutions for reported incidents or system enhancements
Keep updated incident and changes logs
Create test scripts and perform required testing models and alert production reports
