Tetra Tech's WTR Division office located in San Juan, PR is searching for a qualified Project Manager to join our team to help support the disaster recovery and reconstruction efforts in Puerto Rico. The Project Manager will coordinate and manage the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of civil engineering projects and ensure environmental compliance with Federal, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and local regulations. The project manager will have engineering and technical oversight related to the installation of Transmission & Distribution systems (clearing, grubbing, earthwork, SWPPPs, site work, foundations, etc.). Responsibilities: Manage projects and ensure standards of performance, quality, and services meets Tetra Tech and client requirements Responsible for scheduling projects and coordinating requirements with the clients, subcontractors, agencies, municipalities, and company Assures compliance with best management and engineering practices, regulations and codes Attend meetings, maintain minutes and detailed progress reports Attend field and site visits with client and staff Assist in developing "Final Reports" in accordance with client requirements Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of the project Must have a thorough understanding of project management/profitability and ability to maintain budgetary control of each phase of project The candidate will regularly support field work; therefore, the candidate must have a valid driver's license, able to drive 4-wheel drive vehicles off-road, be physically able to hike a few hundred meters, and carry field supplies. Bachelor or Master's degree in civil engineering required Puerto Rico Professional Engineering License preferred Five to eight years of experience required Knowledge of local agency jurisdictions (OGPe, PR EQB, PR DNER, PR Planning Board, PR DOT and PREPA) Knowledge of federal agency jurisdictions (EPA, USACE, USFWS, etc.) Knowledge of surveying, easements, rights-of-way, GIS, AutoCad, BMPs, etc. Familiarity with permitting applications Strong organization skills required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bi-lingual English and Spanish Valid Puerto Rico driver's license required Tetra Tech only accepts resumes through its online process.
