Commercial Loan Consultant

Descripción del Empleo:
The “CLC” will be responsible to develop a structure to build up the commercial loans underwriting standards, including credit, risk, and terms analysis for a group of local credit unions. Is responsible for the formation; defining the underwriting guidelines; and defining the type of commercial loans for small business to be offered. It will deal primarily with small business-related borrowing, which is typically non associated within the credit unions. Additional advisory responsibilities include assessing the credit unions potential client's financial position and analyzing the client's needs, collateral and guarantees. Define a credit policy a framework based on — character, capacity, capital, conditions & collateral to evaluate potential small-business borrowers.
Requisitos:
Proficient computer skills, a thorough knowledge of loan and processing software, and the ability to use basic email and internet are also necessary. A bachelor's degree is required. Extensive knowledge and experience in sales, customer service on banking is highly beneficial. A senior commercial loan officer must have experience and a working knowledge of finance and know how to read financial statements. Knowledge of the different loans banking offerings and the terms for each is important. All loan agreements must comply with federal and state regulations. Must have excellent decision-making skills, be detail oriented and take initiative to seek out and attract new clients.
