Job Description SummaryReporting to the Order fulfillment and SAP Project leader, the candidate in this role will work closely with GSC manufacturing, and commercial regions to accurately book and maintain sales orders in the SAP system for products and projects manufactured 'in house', products purchased from other GE sites and products being repaired or assessed for repair. This role ensures accurate order processing from contract documentation and assists the shipping process to maximize on time delivery to customers with optimum inventory and cost.Key KPIs responsible / influence: Ontime Delivery to Customer, OD, Lead Time, Sales, Inventory, Delivery Plan.This is an on site position.Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities:• Follow Safety and Compliance work standards and practices.• Achieve targeted sales on a weekly/monthly/Quarterly basis.• Participate in S&OP process at regional level. Drive S&OP program with GSC Manufacturing teams.• Liaise between the regional sales teams and the factory to achieve business objectives.• Responsible for order booking process in SAP to achieve targeted order acknowledgement lead times.• Lead queries from the Region in terms of order progress, priorities, and delivery schedules.• Update orders in the MU from the SU.• Drive resolutions, with the SU, to the problems related to order accuracy.• Participate in the planning and scheduling process in alignment with the Planning and Manufacturing team.• Ensure operational alignment with customer delivery requirements and business KPIs. Maintain accurate order delivery dates in SAP.• Maintain accurate order and material availability dates in SAP based on production schedule(s).• Contribute to minimize finished goods inventory.• Drive continuous improvement to offer lead times that match the market expectation.• Work closely with the Industrialization team to determine the new product launch plan, including the forecast projections.• Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration from accredited university or college• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing environment with proven experience on manufacturing processes, material planning and customer service.• Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required.• Ability to communicate clearly with peers in other countries regarding order in the booking process.• Strong computer skills. Advance user of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)• Experience with the SD module in SAP or any other equivalent ERP system preferred.• Experience applying daily management tools, process mapping, waste hunting, and problem-solving tools.• Experience participating in orders forecasting.• Demonstrated ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues with a sense of urgency.• Proactive approach to tasks - displays initiative. Facilitate cross-functional team discussions.• Flexible and adaptable: open to change and modification of tasks.
