Damage Assessor

Job Description Winsor Consult Group is looking for a highly motivated, incredibly organized quality assurance specialist for an immediate, permanent, full-time opportunity in Houston, TX, Baton Rouge, LA, or Puerto Rico. The right candidate will have a background in property damage estimating, thorough knowledge of how to use Xactimate, and a strong sense of appropriate cost for residential repairs. This individual will be responsible for completing accurate damage assessments on residential, commercial, and government property. The duties will vary but in general the following are expected: Use Xactimate 28 to perform property damage repair estimates Modify Xactimate estimates based on additional information received Review damage estimates for residential properties to ensure that adequate documentation and photographs are in place to support repair efforts Follow all policies, requirements, and protocols Update status of properties through QA process as necessary Complete reports on properties for Upper Management The ideal candidate will meet the following minimum requirements: 1 year of experience in a position using Xactimate to assess property damage and estimate repair costs Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Must submit to a federal and state background check, and a drug screening Fluency in Spanish a plus Company Description Winsor Consult Group Corporation (Winsor) specializes in providing Program, Project, Construction and Contract Management services to public agencies in New York, New Jersey and California.
