The Director of Network and Datacenter Operations will manage and coordinate IT resources across multiple initiatives related to the network and enterprise cloud infrastructure. This person will lead and provide direction to network services teams, infrastructure services teams and external partners in addition to partnering with business leaders to identify opportunities, requirements and solutions to support business growth, change, and development. The Director of Network and Datacenter Operations will plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations to ensure the stable operation of the organizations Network and Services Infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly the enterprise cloud and network infrastructure such as firewalls, LAN/WAN, Web, Application and Database servers, wireless, carrier communications, and telecommunications systems. The fundamentals for the job… Responsible for the architecture, roadmap, design, standardization, availability, security and the support of all network, cloud and physical infrastructure. Be accountable for the security of the IT infrastructure in compliance with all industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion. Provide strong leadership and team building skills with a management style that fits the corporate culture. Perform other duties as requested by management. Manages critical technology general control processes, including user access management and other controls supporting PCI and SOX requirements. Develop, manage and test the company’s monitoring, backup and disaster recovery capabilities. Collaborate on the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvements necessary to support company growth. Define and establish infrastructure strategic planning, goals and operating procedures. Develop the Infrastructure team and mentor talent to deliver the technology management and execution capabilities of the company. Stays current with industry best practices, new technology and information security developments. Follow all safe work practices and requirements; immediately inform your supervisor if you see a hazard. Manage complex networks and overseeing formal planning, tracking, and reporting on project and staff performance. Ensures that project/department milestones and goals are met, while adhering to approved budgets What you’re made of The bold requirements… Bachelor’s Degree in related field. 10 years of experience in Network Infrastructure Leadership. Significant knowledge and hands-on experience in the following IT infrastructure concepts and solutions: Core network infrastructure for both on-premise, cloud, and DR providers, Highly available architectures, with resilient network design experience, redundancy, monitoring and security control, carriers, and telephony technologies. Experience managing and supporting an Enterprise Network Infrastructure components, Cisco or Fortinet next generation firewalls. The following certifications are preferred: Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE, Telephony, SIP and unified communication, CISSP. Experience supporting regulatory audits, including PCI, SOX. Supporting datacenters in multi-tenant environment. Exceptional communication and leadership skills. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, consistently changing environment, and respond to urgent situations, as required. Deep knowledge supporting Network Infrastructure related operations management (NOC). Knowledge of CMS and HIPPA guidelines is a Plus. Bilingual (English and Spanish).
