Draftperson

Descripción del Empleo:
Responsible for the preparation of machine parts and layout drawings.
1.Using a computer, prepares layouts, drawings and designs according to engineering specifications.
2. Reviews engineering drawings and supporting documents to verify freedom of movement between parts and adherence to organization or industry standard practices.
3. Analyzes design and confers with engineering staff to resolve details not completely defined.
4. Fill in technical details, using drawings, rough sketches, specifications, codes and calculations previously made by engineers.
5. Prepare drawings that provide visual guidelines, showing the technical details of the products and structures and specifying dimensions, materials to be used, and procedures and processes to be followed.

1st shift
Requisitos:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE ? Associate’s Degree or Technical course in Drafting.
? At least three years of significant experience as a Drafter.
? Bilingual (Spanish & English).

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
1. Well-developed drafting and mechanical drawing skills.
2. Knowledge of drafting standards, mathematics, science and engineering technology.
3. Strong background in computer-aided drafting (CAD), Solidworks and design techniques.
