The role: Perform critical analysis of electrical, control and instrumentation (EC&I) systems and equipment, highlighting anomalies and propose improvements and modifications. Responsibilities: Knowledge of terminal equipment, regulatory requirements, terminal maintenance and computer operations Successfully and effectively follow all health, safety, security, environmental (HSSE) and operational practices and procedures Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and procedures to recognize out of compliance conditions and implement corrective action Ability to monitor and maintain equipment in a manner that will allow for safe, efficient operations 24/7 Initiative and motivation to work efficiently and effectively Carry out repair and preventative maintenance on various field instruments Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment Read and comprehend electrical schematic diagrams and instrument loop sheets to identity and repair equipment failures Document equipment files and ensure that they are kept up to date Communicate effectively with operational personnel and supervision to troubleshoot equipment problems What you bring: General understanding of electrical power generation and gas is required Knowledge of electronic, electrical and mechanical instrumentation associated with complex control systems Must have good communication skills and technical language with the ability to check for understanding to eliminate miscommunications Ability to work effectively with a team and contractors Must demonstrate initiative and effective team work Knowledge and understanding of HSSE concepts and management techniques, hazard identification and risk management Extensive operational, maintenance and experience with shore side facilities and/or operations onboard LNGCs and/or offshore oil & gas operations Our commitment to diversity inclusion: New Fortress Energy promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace.
