Entry Level Attorney

Job Description Job Summary: If you are a extremely personable and empathetic lawyer and would like to help clients get legal help we can offer you a chance to make a difference. The Intake Attorney is responsible for establishing a professional and supportive “first contact” experience for individuals seeking for legal representation and evaluating the quality of their potential cases.This would involve working at the office with no court room or actual litigation. Duties and Responsibilities: Assisting clients via phone, email, and chat. Collect basic information from clients to begin a case file. Verifying legal criteria of prospective clients for qualification. Verify and update all client information and enter it into a case management system. Appointment scheduling and/or assisting clients with electronic signature process. Follow up with clients verbally and/or via email, and text. Resolving problems and handling of client’s issue confidentially and in a professional manner. Actively participate in staff meetings and trainings. Requirements: Recent Law School graduate or less than 1 year of experience. High proficiency in the English language (Verbal/Written). Licensed attorney or bar candidate in Puerto Rico Extremely organized, ability to multi task, fast learner, and work well in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills. Exceptional and detailed oriented people skills. Strong critical and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Exceptional oral and written communication in both English and Spanish. Responsible, reliable, and dependable. Self-Motivated and always with a positive attitude. Able to work any schedule, included but not limited to weeknights and Saturdays if needed.
