Environmental, Health And Safety Technician

Environmental, Health and Safety Technician Summary: Provide technical information on safety issues on new equipment, method of performing work, with equipment, and risk to employee health. Conduct or participate in audits for compliance with site programs and policy, reporting the results to the safety manager. Review and update EHS programs and procedures as needed. Provide EHS specialized training to employees. Coordinate and conduct inspection of equipment and others. Facilitate work permits. The incumbent will perform other duties assigned. Requirements: Bachelor degree in related field. At least 2 -5 years of experience in the EHS field on pharmaceutical, medical devices or chemical plant. Ongoing training which demonstrates a current understanding of critical job aspects, certifications on EHS preferable. Bilingual: Spanish and English.
