Field Sampling Technician / Courier - Mayagüez

Descripción del Empleo:
Conducts sampling in the field (primarily in pharma/med device). Safely transports samples and relevant documentation to the Lab for processing. Follow internal laboratory and client’s procedures while taking samples. Maintain proper chain of custody of samples from the client to the laboratory. Complete vehicle operational logs and minor maintenance as needed. Support the laboratory through functions such as organizing, filing of laboratory records, retrieving test items from retention. Follow good documentation practices, data integrity principles and safety behaviors. Coordinate intake activities with Client Representative(s) and Laboratory Supervisor/Team Leader. Complete all necessary documentation, using Good Documentation Practices and Good Laboratory Practices. Temporary contract.
Requisitos:
Associate's Degree in chemistry or related sciences. 2-3 years experience in sampling for chemical and microbiological tests, preferably in pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Availability to work overtime. Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Problem Solving and initiative skills. Basic computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.
