Finance Analyst

Descripción del Empleo:
This position will be responsible for the financial analysis / cost accounting functions including but not limited to: working with all levels of management and participating on cross-functional teams in identifying and realizing business improvement opportunities, assisting in the setting of standard costs, efficiency rates, performance trending, and variance analysis. Assist in the monthly and annual close process as well as the annual budgeting process. Recommend changes in procedures, policies, practices and operating methods. Assists in the monthly closing process by: Running all month-end production and close reports. Assist in reconciling all Raw and Direct Material inventories.
Preparing all required journal entries as assigned. Preparing all required month-end spreadsheets as assigned. Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting due to corporate.
Requisitos:
• Strong interpretive, analytical and math skills. • Strong background/knowledge of Microsoft Computer Software, especially Excel.
• Previous experience with Data3 (AS400) Operating and SAP Financial systems.
• Above average oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving and investigative abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Understanding of standard cost accounting and financial accounting
• Self-starter who is approachable and comfortable working with personnel across all disciplines.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of experience as a plant accountant or equivalent work experience.
• Business related continuing eduction, seminars, and upkeep on current accounting issues are expected
