Financial Analyst

Responsibilities 13;

Manages monthly closing processes and variance analysis. Analyze reports and/or transactions to determine corresponding journal entries. Prepare financial statements and notes to financial statements. Complies with regulatory reports schedules. Supports business operation units to resolve outstanding items. Complies with due dates. Manages Budget and Forecast processes. Manages internal, external and regulatory audits. Prepares monthly analysis of reserves. Supports corporate tax unit (monthly preliminary tax calculation, coordinates the preparation of: estimated tax payments, filing of tax returns, among others).

:Expertise in the analysis of financial information.
:Excellent analytical skills to identify situations as they arise, provide alternatives and collaborate in the decision:making process.
:Proficiency in the preparation of financial statements and ability to engage in business discussions.
:Assist in the accounting evaluation of special transactions or consultations referred by the business units.
:Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
:Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player.
:Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
:Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
:Advanced skills in Excel (Filters, Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas)
:Knowledge in GAAP and FASB standars (Knowledge in STAT regulations preferable).
:Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and Spanish. 13;

Education 13;

Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Masters Degree in Accounting is preferred.

Experience 13;

At least two or three years of experience in the full accounting cycle in preferred.
