General Accountant

Duties: The general accountant performs routine to complex accounting duties. Responsible to assist the Finance Director or Comptroller with monthly closings preparing journal entries, researching and analyzing accounting data, reconciling subsidiaries and ledgers and preparing reports. May handle efficiently all accounting modules, which include General Ledger, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, among others. In charge of the billing and collection process of designated revenues and the preparation and maintenance of bank reconciliations. Also assist with Budget preparation, Internal/External Audits, Regulatory Reports. Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards and works under limited supervision with moderate latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Major in Accounting * Master Degree in Accounting * At least two years of related experience preferable in hospital, Full bilingual (fluent English\Spanish) * Full proficient in Microsoft Office * Excellent interpersonal skills * Excellent analytical skills * Ability to work extended hours, holidays and weekends * Ability to work under pressure.
