Gym Receptionist

Job Description
Gym Receptionists make the clients of a gym feel welcome and complete a variety of front desk tasks, such as taking phone calls, answering to questions, handling correspondence, and keeping the reception area clean and well-organized. The ideal candidate should have a friendly personality, be familiar with gym equipment, communicate efficiently, and have basic computer skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Handle all incoming calls with a pleasant and professional voice and promptly respond to inquiries via email and telephone and keep the management team updated.

Assist in maintaining the gym's cleanliness and upbeat culture to generate more business.

Manage and process payments made by the members, providing them with up to date copies of receipts and/or transactions made by them.

Process and turn-in payments made by the members.

Resolve all customer complaints and make sure the customers are satisfied with the service they receive at all times.

Build relationships with members to assist in exceeding renewal goals.

Coordinate with the customers and take feedback to improve the efficiency of services.

Maintain a record of all guests and members coming to the gym.

Evaluate customer demographics to assist in development in marketing strategies.

Assist in getting the gym equipment ready for use.

Maintain cleanliness of gym facility and equipment.

Provide back-up supervision of the gym and independently manage the establishment when manager is not present.

Assist the Duty Manager in maintaining the gym.

Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma/GED required.
2+ years’ experience in customer service or hospitality.
Excellent communication and math skills.
Ability to learn computer functions and other on-the-job skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Bilingual - Perfect English and Spanish.
We need 24 availability.
