Job Overview:EQVAL’s HR Assistant will provide a wide range of supporting activities within the HR Group and will act as a liaison between HR and employees thus ensuring effective communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. The HR Assistant will help with the administration of day-to-day operations of the HR Group and EQVAL.
Responsibilities & Duties:
-Greet and welcome all EQVAL visitors and guests.
-Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
-Maintain updated digital and electronic records of employees.
-Schedule and manage all EQVAL agendas (Interviews, activities and events, EQVAL Academy)
-Maintain inventory of EQVAL employee uniforms. Includes ordering uniforms when inventory is low and payment of inventory.
-Support HR Recruiter in resume editing based on client’s needs.
-Support HR Recruiter in creating employee id’s and client platform accounts.
-Manage all client and services invoice processing. Includes acceptance, payment and client follow up.
-Answer telephone and direct call to corresponding team member.
-Process and send all office correspondence.
-Assist with recruitment process by identifying candidates and performing background and reference checks.
-Coordinate all employee drug test requests.
-Create all New Hire employee files.
-Ensure reception and conference office areas are clean and organized.
-Provide support to all Employee Relations program objectives.
-Manage EQVAL’s social media platforms.
Qualifications:
1. BS, BA or BBA in Human Resources or related field and a minimum of one-year experience in the field.
2. Basic knowledge in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
3. Bilingual (English and Spanish)
4. Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.
5. Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.
6. Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
7. Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees and members of the EQVAL team.
8. Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
9. Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
