Bilingual: Spanish and English. Shift: Administrative and according to business needs. Experience in: Time Studies, and Capacity Assessment. Lead Continuous Improvement. Lean Manufacturing Implementation ( 5S, Standard Works, Std WIP, Waste Analysis, VA vs NVA) . AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job) Analyzes, creates and implements manufacturing and/or business process improvements that increase capacity, and reduce lead-time. Analyzes, creates and implements eliminate non-valued added, reduce work in process and improve fill rates. Completes capacity analyzes internally and/or at suppliers for headcount, equipment and space requirements using simulation software or other effective tools. Designs, implements and maintains effective metrics with internal customers or suppliers to ensure unbridled supply is achieved. Participates as a core member in cross-functional teams to quickly troubleshoot and eliminate product supply issues internally or at suppliers. Makes recommendations to design teams, which drive higher yielding, lower cost, more manufacturable products. May use financial analysis tools and recommend alternative courses of action. Convinces internal customers or suppliers to make fundamental changes to their manufacturing and/or business processes. Develops and coordinates ergonomic projects.
