Industrial Engineering Intern (Cayey)

Descripción del Empleo:
This position reports to the Engineering Manager. Its general function is to originate, justify and implement projects to improve the productivity, reliability and maintainability of the production equipment, reduce rejections, improve product quality and reduce cost.

Shift: 1st Shift

1. Develop and maintain complete knowledge of the plant processes and equipment.
2. Participate in regular Production Meetings
3. Use existing plant metrics to identify improvement needs.
4. Use engineering and technical skills to pinpoint root cause of equipment or process problems.
5. Develop, justify and implement engineering solutions to process problems.
6. Provide engineering support to manufacturing areas as assigned.
7. Identify and justify new production equipment as required.
Requisitos:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS A. Education: Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering 3rd (third year).
Fully bilingual, Spanish-English.
