The Innovation Data Analyst will work on research and development of new products and services for the bank. Primary responsibilities will center around analyzing information, identifying opportunities and creating solutions along with colleagues within the Design Strategy group.
The position requires innovation, strategy and strategic judgment. The Innovation Data Analyst is expected to effectively manage individual work streams and communicate analyses within the team, internal customers and upper management, as required.

:Identify innovation opportunities.
:Analyze various types of data (customer, business, trends) to come up with insights.
:Liaise with key stakeholders to identify and define analytical project requirements, scope and objectives.
:Keep up:to:date with the latest technology trends, research and/or tools that can be leveraged to further organizational innovation and intelligence.
:Designing rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas to internal customers and/or senior management in a simple, cohesive and clear manner.
:Identify potential data sources and make recommendations regarding data collection procedures that would enable the identification of innovations and/or proprietary intelligence from which opportunities could be identified.
:Generate and maintain research reports, presentations and databases of unique, alternative, and proprietary intelligence.
:Present comfortably and compellingly to various audience types.
:Identify resource needs and make requests, as needed.
:Promptly escalate any issues which cannot be resolved.
:Support other innovation projects as needed. 13;
Minimum Education 13;
Bachelors Degree in Mathematics or Information Systems 13;

:Demonstrable experience with the development of innovative new technologies and features
:Demonstrable experience in applying innovative and design thinking
:Ability to spot emerging trends
:Ability to think conceptually and translate ideas into action
:Hands on experience working on large databases and a high level of comfort and experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Power Point and SQL
:Experience in open source programming languages for large scale data analysis is preferred
:Experience with machine learning and relational databases is a plus
:Experience with SAS, SPSS, Python, R or other programming languages is a plus
:Ability to prototype visualizations is a plus
:Ability to fluently speak, read and write English and Spanish 13;
