Jprr Employment Skills Program Designer 2019-2020

The VISTA project's goal is to expand the social capital and employment skills of a group of as least eight (8) economically disadvantaged youth and young adults through an apprenticeship type training in Community Leadership. The VISTA member will design an Employment Skills sustainable program for Juvenile Community Leaders Training. Develop a social mapping project. Develop a training in Community Leadership program. Review the Design of an Employment Skills sustainable program. Increase resources for the organization. The VISTA member will be assign to our Central Offices in Rio Piedras as the work base to develop the project. The service will require to travel to other sites in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico Youth at Risk, Inc. (PRYAR) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to get the youth of Puerto Rico to take control of their lives and modify the conduct that has moved them to take dangerous risks. A Continuum of Socio-Educational Preventive Services integrates services provided to "at-risk" students emphasizing the transitional stages (elementary, to middle, to high school and post) which prepares students for the University starting in the elementary school, integrating graduates from each level in support of those in lower stages. Our services are provided in public schools of the municipalities of San Juan, Canóvanas, Juncos and Naguabo. Terms : Car recommended . Service Areas : Education .
