McNeil Consumer Healthcare markets a broad range of over-the-counter products, including TYLENOL® acetaminophen products and MOTRIN®. As a Lead Financial Analyst, you will engage as a Site finance business partner for manufacturing facility. You will also provide decision support to partners by developing thorough financial analysis while cultivating both internal and external partnerships. Ensure quality and compliance in all actions fulfilling all regulatory requirements on a timely basis. Support the development of the Plant Long Range Financial Plan in partnership with various groups by translating insights into cost effective, value adding solutions. You will enhance business processes and specify business requirements for efficiency gains, working with business partners and connecting in multi-functional special projects / events for continuous improvement. Prepare reports on the actual results of current expenditures relating to the budget, and the explanations for the variations. This includes: monitoring the cost per unit in relation to the budgeted amount. Analyze and prepare Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts for business plan and actuals for local statutory reporting. Actively participates in meetings of the corporation both locally and outside of Puerto Rico. Keep senior management informed on the current financial position and risks of the company. Participate in the physical inventory of raw materials, in-process materials and finished product. Support both internal and external audits, provide support during audits to comply with appropriate accounting standards, company policies and procedures, as well as with those of regulatory agencies. Qualifications A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is required; degree focus in Accounting or Finance is preferred Master’s degree, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are preferred A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Finance or Accounting is required Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Supervisory experience is preferred Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and pharmaceutical industry applicable regulations is preferred Excellent attention to detail, communication, interpersonal relations, conceptual analytical and business partnering skills are required Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required; SAP knowledge is preferred Intermediate or advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables) are required Proficiency in English and Spanish (oral and written) is required This position requires up to ten percent (10%) of travel Ability to work extra hours and to respond to emergency calls that may require returning to the company after regular working hours of the business is required
