Logist Specialist

Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing logistics activities for the effective delivery of test materials in a manner that meets best in class fulfillment requirements in parallel with the goal of transportation cost reduction. The position is responsible for collecting and communicating all necessary information related to upcoming and ongoing shipments, projects, and services, as well as providing logistics support, and obtaining best possible transportation rates. S/he uses problem solving skills to effectively handle schedule changes and delivery issues identified by staff and identifies alternative solutions while meeting deadlines and satisfying production. Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field 3-5 years of experience performing similar duties. Knowledge of traffic and routing of merchandise domestic and international • Knowledge of shipping and receiving domestic and international Knowledge of warehouse security measures Experience with logistics of domestic and international distribution The ability to operate a forklift (electric pallet truck).
