Company OverviewOur expanding and growing client, leader in the development and construction market, with a presence in Puerto Rico, Central America, the Caribbean and the United States with more than 15,000 clients, is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer.Job SummaryThe Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical direction and resource coordination at the plants for all aspects of interruption service work. This includes condition assessment, internal and external resource coordination, process development and site execution.Responsibilities and DutiesInspect equipment for condition, suitability of application, and remaining life using documentation provided by PSM.Development of standard documentation and cuts.Analyzing damaged equipment.Development and writing of detailed reports within the shipping date required by the client.Development and writing processes and procedures.On-site management of consumables and miscellaneous hardware kits.Provide leadership for PSM and customer site specific quality policies and objectives.Coordination of various site resources including but not limited to: site engineers (including generator and steam turbine resources), technicións, labor contractors.Provide feedback to the engineering, long-term agreement group, and overhaul facility regarding the condition and interchangeability of parts.Daily field service support, customer support, and long-term contract activities as required.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor in Mechanical Engineering or related field; or combination of education and experience.Minimum 5 years as a mechanical engineer for field service projects or equivalent function and experience in the construction industry.Experience with Microsoft Project or related programming software.Fully Bilingual Spanish and EnglishThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
