Mentor/Job Club Coordinator

Description:This is a full-time position. The Mentor/Job Club Coordinator position is responsible serving as lead and coordinating all program mentoring activities for program participants. Specifically, this position is responsible for: Recruiting and engaging mentors, participants and participants’ families to promote success in attaining program goals, Traveling to areas where mentors are located to inform, recruit and engage individuals, Screening participants, participants’ families and mentors to insure alignment of individual and program goals, Collaborating with schools, agency representatives, community groups, and area employers to determine employment trends and demands, and to facilitate referrals. Developing and conducting job readiness, career exploration, cognitive behavioral interventions and other trainings, Attending assigned conferences, seminars and classes in order to maintain and upgrade skills Requirements:Up to three years of training and/or work experience in mentoring, job clubs, training and employment, juvenile justice or other relevant area, with specific emphasis on the issues of at risk, in-school youth populations, Basic computer and record keeping knowledge, Bi-lingual English/Spanish Please submit your resume to
