Candidate will be primarily responsible for the operational effectiveness of the Optivon Network infraestructure, including servers running VMware, Intel servers running Linux and/or Microsoft Windows, Cisco routers, Ubiquiti microwave systems and Fortigate firewalls. The Network Specialist II will be day-to-day maintenance of the WAN, as well as administering VMWare, Microsoft, and Linux servers. must have local area networks knowledge, including routers, switches and firewalls. Education: Bachelor’s degree in electronics or computer science and/or at least 5 years career experience in network administration. VMware, Unix and Cisco shop, so CCNA or CompTIA Network is required and VMware NSA-6 or higher, CCNP routing & switching, VCP VMware Certified Professional, and Fortigate NSE 6 Specialist certification are highly desirable. English and Spanish written/verbal skills required.
