Occupational Health Nurse
Live What you will do Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will coordinate the site infirmary, medical services and EHSS program activities. Deliver performance of medical surveillance programs to align with regulations, wellness activities participation, medical documentation and other related activities. Promote the health and safety of all associates.
Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide primary nursing care and manage occupational injuries and illness.Maintain associate's medical information on file as required by Government regulations.Coordinate and perform vision screening tests for inspectors and any other required testing.Manage Leave of Absent cases with Amgen Benefit Center Program and performs Return To Work medical evaluations.Coordinate the Medical Surveillance Program based on occupational exposures, including Ergonomic Case Management.Purchase and maintain an inventory of medications, equipment and medical supplies.Promote and coordinate Environmental Health and Safety Education activities.Ensure accurate OSHA and local regulation recordkeeping and assist in the preparation of Incident Reports.Timely completion of assigned trainings and tasks Win What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Nursing
OR
Associate's degree in Nursing and 4 years of occupational nursing experience
AndProfessional Licensed Registered Nurse from PR Nursing Board
AND
Member of the PR Nursing Association
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 2 years of experience in the occupational setting.Bilingual (English/Spanish)Certified Occupational Hearing ConservationistNIOSH Approved Spirometry TrainingACLS/PALSExcellent Interpersonal and Communication skillsAbility with Computer applications (Microsoft Office) Thrive What you can expect of us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates' professional and personal growth and well-being.
