Descripción del Empleo:
Analyzes reports about usage of the pharmacy benefit to identify problems and offer solutions. Assures compliance with PBM and Thirds Vendors contract agreements. Coordinates and/or participates in activities for the following committees: Committee of Pharmacy and Therapy; and any other committee as assigned. Establishes effective communication with our policyholders’ physicians regarding their prescription profiles and medicine therapy, with the intention of optimizing therapeutic results and quality of care. Interacts with the Department’s workgroup, giving assessment and support to interventions and activities, as required. Supports other operational units within the Department in tasks such as presentations and identifying and revising cases of fraud. Also serves as an expert resource in the evaluation of preauthorization cases.
Requisitos:
Bachelor’s Degree or Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Pharmacy. One (1) to three (3) year experience or equivalent in the health Industries.
