Pipe Fabricator (Regular)

Tends fabricating machines such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punch, that cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures.Plan pipe system layout and installation according to engineering blueprint specifications.Inspect, examine and test installed pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation or other methods per QAS specifications.Measure and mark pipes for cutting or threading.Attach pipes to walls, structures or fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment.Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings, or related equipment, according to specifications by threading joints or compression fittings.Requisitos:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; Associate degree or Technical College Degree is preferred.At least 3 years of experience in pipefitting, tool and die maker, (i.e. mechanical, shop class, maintenance) field which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.Possess knowledge and experience managing welding equipment and tools.Previous experience within the regulated industry (pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, consumer industry) is highly preferred.
