Planner

Descripción del Empleo:
• Responsible for the Puerto Rico market supply chain planning, WIP and packaging materials.
• Identify key insights to make objective demand plan recommendations.
• Create detailed demand plans: Analyze sales forecasts, historical data, sell-in/through rates, and relative market information.
• Reconcile inbound inventory with expected monthly and in-season demand to identify supply/demand gaps and optimize inventory in global warehouses.
• Analyze on-hand and inbound inventory
• Gather, analyze and validate all data used in preparing statistical forecasts.
• Identify current and projected future obsolete inventory
• Manage Purchase Orders and vendor relationships
• Negotiate costs with vendors and improve supply chain flexibility.
Requisitos:
• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or supply chain management with 3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in planning, forecasting, and/or buying for a seasonal business.
• Familiar with product life cycles in the food and beverage industry.
• Ability to negotiate with vendors
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills, as well as a high attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
• Expert level in Excel: ability to work in Macros, pivot tables, etc.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MRP, DRP and BOM.
