Plenitud: Administrative Systems Designer

Plenitud is a 501c3 non-profit organization serving individuals and communities by sharing knowledge for a sustainable and harmonious life from our learning center in the peaceful rural town of Las Marias, PR. Plenitud has been a leader in offering environmental educational services to farmers, students, and others since 2010. Our organization's integration into the local community left us well poised to help in aftermath of Hurricane Maria. We are working to meet increased demand for education in long-term solutions like the construction of emergency shelters, rainwater harvesting systems, school gardens, and agroecology. Plenitud is experiencing a time of growth and opportunity, and we need the service of VISTA members to build the capacity of the organization.The 'Administrative Systems Designer' VISTA will lead the transition to Trailblazer, a cloud-based system for storing contact information and conducting communications. The VISTA will be responsible for learning the system, uploading and organizing contacts, training others, and integrating Trailblazer into existing admin systems. This increase efficiency and productivity and greatly facilitate fundraising, mass communications, recruitment, registration, and more. The VISTA will also overhaul Plenitud's marketing, promotion, and media efforts by establishing protocols and creating systems to improve & sync communications across platforms. The VISTA will help to craft a cohesive brand and style for the organization and create new promotional materials.This position requires a creative and self-directed candidate with good interpersonal skills who is comfortable working with a dynamic team on real grassroots-level service. They must be comfortable with computers, social media, and web-based technology. The position will run for one year from July 23rd, 2018 until July 22nd, 2019.
