The SEMAC Mechanical team is looking for talent to work in a highly engaged fast paced environment working with multiple suppliers and programs to perform the duties outlined below.
The selected candidate must be able to work in a
team atmosphere, handle multiple tasks with competing
priorities, meet critical deadlines and have excellent
written and oral communication skills. To be successful,
the individual must be able to develop effective
relationships with teammates, buyers, management,
supplier contacts and program customers.
Duties:
Preparation of bid packages, analyzes and evaluates proposals
Selects or recommends subcontractors.
Performs price analysis, use of cost evaluations for development
of pre-negotiation strategies.
Leads negotiations. Subcontract / PO documentation.
Invoice reconciliation, and payment.
Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications
to subcontracts.
Work with program and other areas of the business for timely
conclusion of contract matters and resolution of issues.
Work with GSCO to leverage commodities in negotiating
corporate buying agreements.
Work is performed with some management appreciable direction.
WORK LOCATION FOR THIS POSITION IS AT THE LOCKHEED MARTIN FACILITY IN AGUADILLA, PUERTO RICO
Basic Qualifications:
Strong English language communication skills (verbal, written, reading comprehension)
Solid interpersonal, customer service skills and telephone etiquette
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Desired Skills:
Experience in Supply Chain/Procurement/Purchasing that
includes purchase order administration (buying) and/or
expediting
Outstanding interpersonal, customer service skills,
telephone etiquette and written correspondence
Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume
environment
LM Procure to Pay (P2P) experience
SAP system experience
