Production Supervisor

BBA in Management. Minimum one year of experience as supervisor in a manufacturing setting. Basic labor laws, quality systems and EHS knowledge. Basic PC skills: Microsoft Office tools
Provide supervision to production group leaders and employees; controls the fabrication, equipment and inventory resources for effective cost, quality and schedule performance. Ensure all manufactured products and sub-assemblies follow company quality requirements and procedures and reduce or eliminate customer complaints. Assure the most efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment in achieving production requirements. Responsible for the production planning, coordination of employee work schedules, and determine production line needs. Make sure raw material and work tools are available to employees in order to assure production goal accomplishment. Complete reports and records such as: sales, line production and productivity; inspection and quality documents; training document; accidents reports; employee and line incidents; and corrective actions, among others. Assure excellent employee relations among the group and motivate employees to obtain desired results. Attain and maintain maximum efficiency and performance in order to achieve objectives. Coordinate production equipment maintenance and/or repair. Assure that manufacturing personnel are trained in all areas required to perform their work according to requirements. Support production line when necessary to assure sales plan will be accomplished. Participate in assigned meetings. Comply and ensure compliance with EHS requirements as well as company policies and procedures.
