Project Manager

Descripción del Empleo:
The Project Manager reports to the Dean of Academic Development and is responsible for managing multiple, simultaneous course building projects to successful completion in the ID Department.
Skills & Qualifications
• 4 year University degree or college diploma in relevant field.
• 3 + years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• High level of conceptual thinking.
• Technology proficient.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Familiarity with project management software, including Microsoft Project.
• Technically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Office suite
Requisitos:
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the project is aligned with strategic priorities, as well as act as a central information source for each project.
• Effectively apply consistent methodology and enforce project standards; ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately in a timely manner.
• Provide metrics and statistics reporting, including updates to management via reports, project scorecards, and other methods, as requested.
• Build project charters and plans to define the factors for success. Manage most aspects of project lifecycle including requirements, scope, resources, timeline, and reporting.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
