Pt Store Sales Associate

Successful candidates of this Part-Time Store Sales Associate role have high energy, be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment with the ability to learn quickly. Someone with a customer-centric attitude, and enjoys interacting with all types of personalities would be a good fit for this role. Follow established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective administrative support to a sales team, unit, or department. Follow established guidelines or checklists to answer routine internal and customer inquires on product availability, prices, delivery times, and the status of orders so that inquiries are dealt with promptly and accurately. Perform simple background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends to support the sales team's activities. Enter data into databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date customer records; to track the status of orders and deliveries; to maintain sales commission and expense records; and to generate sales reports and statistics. Make simple calculations to accurately compile and report statistics. Typically reports to the Store Group Manager. Requirements of the entry level role include: High School diploma 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience Working knowledge of store operations Broad knowledge of the application and use of paint and sundries Ability to work flexible retail hours with varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays Excellent verbal and written communication skills Valid Driver's license Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. infrequently and 40 – 60 pounds routinely Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet applications SDL2017
