Quality Technician

Performs testing activities at the Chemical Laboratory in support to formulation and release of Jayuya Products including initials, in-process and final samples testing. Perform testing of raw materials and water samples. Provide support to Chemical Laboratory personnel in any associated activity. Follow current procedures and ensure compliance with corporate internal policies and external regulations (safety and 6S guidelines included).Requisitos:• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Chemistry or Chemical Technology; or five years related experience and/or training.• LANGUAGE SKILLSMust read and understand basic English as a second language. Ability to communicate, read, write and understand English/Spanish languages.• MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, percent and interpret bar graphs.• REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.The incumbent must be able to work 3rd shift.
