Full Time Opportunity General Description Applies statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data and provides recommendations. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations, identifying interdependencies and trends. Perform quantitative analyses using statistical analysis software. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Course work in Financial Mathematics, Financial Accounting, Macro and Micro Economics, Programming, Probability, and Statistics. Knowledge in Access and other programming languages such as SQL would be preferred. Knowledge in database management. Collects internal and external statistical data to provide information and recommendations to management regarding testing and validation results and improvement strategies. Identifies indicators and interprets statistical data to detect, correct and prevent situations that may negatively impact the department's performance or compliance requirements. Produces and analyzes comparative statistical reports for internal and external data and identify trends, patterns, or fluctuations, and recommends future actions of the Corporation. General knowledge of laws, regulations and practices applicable to the financial industry, financial markets, financial analysis, and reporting of financial data. Provides analytical support and documents models as per model validation requirements. Excellent organization skills, able to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to analyze business results, to identify problems and propose solutions. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Identify solutions for reported incidents or system enhancements Education Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics Finance and/or Mathematics. Experience At least two years of related experience. Experience with data analysis, data validations, data integration, and business analysis. Experience with regulatory compliance would be preferred, but not required. Other Qualifications Experience developing written summary and analysis of technical testing and validation activities. Experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel, R, and/or reporting and analytics tools. Ability to communicate and work with information technology (IT) personnel. Ability to gather and manipulate substantial amounts of data from different sources and forms. Strong analytical, attention to detail, and organizational skills Ability to operate at all levels of management, with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills (in both English and Spanish).
