Job Description Territory 25209 , Covering Puerto Rico and South Florida The Regional Accounts Executive's (RAE's) primary responsibility is to ensure optimal access and reimbursement to enable pull-through of Amgen's corporate initiatives and product portfolio to achieve sales objectives. Primary customers include Pharmacy Executives, Pharmacoeconomists, Medical Directors, Quality personnel and executive decision-makers. RAE's will demonstrate top-down strategic plan development and coordination with cross-business unit (BU) account teams. RAE's will also be responsible for driving and coordinating segment specific initiatives and programs through the team selling process, coordinating with marketing to develop customer specific value added programs, in addition to maintaining and growing key executive relationships within organized customers. RAE's will also provide feedback on marketing strategies, maintain customer profile and communicate any organizational changes, as well as manage and monitor competitive environments in accounts and make changes accordingly, and coordinate with relevant commercial field team members. Additional responsibilities include: 1. Execute POA and accurately capture field activity within sales reporting systems 2. Effectively deliver Brand specific messages 3. Develop and implement account specific business plans 4. Analyze sales trends, and interpret customer performance 5. Participate in training as required 6. Adhere to all compliance rules and regulations Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree & 2 years of sales experience OR Master's degree & 6 years of sales experience OR Bachelor's degree & 8 years of sales experience OR Associate's degree & 10 years of sales experience Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree, e.g. MBA, MPH Corporate Account or District Manager experience preferred Candidates should possess the ability to develop, implement and coordinate strategic initiatives with cross functional Business Units to successfully enable access and demand creation in key accounts.
