General Description 13; Responsible supporting mortgage servicing quality control testing efforts through business analytics and compliance updates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 13;
* Identifies source data for potential test populations
* Performs queries and/or interfaces with other analysts to perform queries to identify potential test populations * Assists in establishing sampling methodology for mortgage servicing quality control testing
* Performs sampling selection for mortgage servicing quality control testing
* Works with line of business personnel, quality control testing and review/arbitration personnel, quality control compliance personnel, risk and compliance personnel to identify, document and track root cause analyses for quality control findings
* Perform trending analyses for findings, defect errors, root causes, remediation activities, improvements
* Based upon business analytics, identify opportunities for discretionary sampling
* Either manually or in conjunction with established systems, review and maintain quality control tests in compliance with federal, local, investor, insurer and other regulatory requirements
* Participates in federal, local, investor, insurer and other training to enhance knowledge and skills
* Participates in internal and external projects as assigned * Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Education 13;
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance 13;

Experience 13;
Minimum 3+ years of mortgage banking or audit experience and business analytics experience.

* Working knowledge of regulatory requirements
* Previous experience with systems implementation a bonus
* Working knowledge of data architectures
* Data modeling experience a plus
* Experience working with data warehouses and supporting applications such as COGNOS
* SQL experience a plus
* Knowledge of MSP (Black Knight) and data elements
* Attention to detail including data specifications and code transparency
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint); working knowledge of
SQL and/or SAS
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
