Sales Support Specialist Primary Function: Works through multiple service channels to consistently provide a high level of service to the sales team in their daily activities. Supports Sales Team to achieve or exceed Goal by engaging in actions that directly supports the sellers in the administrative aspect of the Sales Process. Supports the assign sales team, and will be measure on, reaching the Sales Goal Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Process and maintains CSP's, MI's and SAP quotes Conducts product Cross Reference Provides Seller with different Sales reports, as requested by Seller Tracks Government & specific customers web sites in order to capture all available opportunities Work with National Account Managers (NAM's) for support on identified opportunities Work with suppliers for support on opportunities Provides assistance preparing and submitting formal & informal bids, RFQ's & RFPs Communicate, works with and aligns all Grainger resources in order to gain the necessary support to manage any sales opportunity Conducts customer visits as necessary or requested by manager Preferred Education & Experience: BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred Fluent bi-lingual, verbal & written English/Spanish 3-5 years customer service/sales experience 5 years' experience selling & biding with Government customers Dynamic and capable to work with multi-tasks at once High sense of responsibility & urgency Excellent listening skills Capable to understand, follow and execute specific instructions Oriented to excellent customer service Literate on Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word & SAP Be able to lift 50 pounds Be able to travel Island wide Grainger is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
