Secondary Teacher: English, Spanish, math, Science (STEAM) Job description
• Design and implement a classes/reinforcement plan for students to improve their grades in the subjects of English, Spanish, math and/or science (STEAM)
o Integrate Cooperative Learning, PBL and Arts
o Design and plan interactive activities, including cards and practice sheets that integrate the educational strategies. These should be aligned with the standards established by the Department of Education
• Coordinate meetings with teachers to plan and keep track of specific needs
• Communicate with parents, and / or caregivers about the progress of the students and their needs
• Document and report to the project coordinator the progress of the students
• Prepare on time all the reports required by the program as requested by the program coordinator.
• Participate in all the activities scheduled
Requisitos:
• Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education*, master’s is a plus. (or BA in pure science, Spanish, English or math, master’s is a plus)
o with concentration in science, Spanish, English or math (as applicable)
• Regular license DEPR*
• 2 years of experience
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal, written & interpersonal abilities
• Ability to multi task and work independently
• Documents required: identification with photo, diploma, applicable licenses, credit transcript, health certificate, criminal records certificate, 300 law certificate, among others
