Job Title Security Engineer

Location Media, PA

Job Description

1. Implement security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.
2. Maintain awareness of information security policies, standards and requirements. Stay current on information security trends and risks.
3. Assist Information Security with the identification and definition of system security requirements. Report identified security vulnerabilities and risks to information security and propose countermeasures.
4. Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs (network, applications, software development, operating system, virtualization, cloud, automation, etc) with input from various stakeholders (Information Security, IT, etc).
5. Prepare and document designs, architectures, configuration standards, standard operating procedures and protocols.
6. Develop general techniques and frameworks that will enable other engineering teams to find flaws before they are introduced into production.
7. Act as an advisor to internal engineering teams, enabling them to build and design products securely and efficiently. Participate and provide security guidance on a constant stream of new projects and technologies.
8. Communicate technical application security concepts to employees, including developers, architects, and managers.
9. Assess the security posture, develop risk profiles, specify security requirements, and identify mitigation measures to safeguard public facing Web applications.
10. Familiarity with Agile practices (SaFE, SCRUM)
11. Experience with architecture methodologies (RUP, TOGAF, 4+1, etc) and design languages (UML)
12. Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats
13. Use current programming language and technologies to writes code, complete programming and performs testing and debugging of applications (Java, Python, Go)
Experience : Minimum 5 years.
