Senior Cost Analyst

Become a business partner with the Plant Controller providing accurate financial information on sales, costs, standards margins, expenses, cost savings, special analysis, headcount and other required specific analysis on request. Manage and prepare all inventory and cost related entries, physical inventory coordination (including reconciliation), and all cost accounting and inventory related processes. •All inventory accountability control performed the following reports: ?Weekly analysis of inventory balances and purchase price variances ?Salvage Sheet disposition: Document used to authorize obsolete material disposal with authorization from Leadership Team members ?Material at vendor (outside premises) reconciliation ?End of month inventory reconciliation to Mapics on-hand balances •Physical Inventory Organization & Performance: ?Update physical inventory instructions to be submitted for approval by Group Controller ?Supplies and organization of the overall process ?Accountability verification and control ?Perpetual balances reconciliation ?Management of perpetual inventory transactions in AS400 (Mapics). ?Transactions management and controls implementation for all material movement •Scrap auditing and accountability, performed by the following reports and activities: ?Identification of worst offenders: Report used to identified material with worst scrap ?Rework and salvage material opportunity activities ?General Process Improvement and accuracy •BOM audits and corrections for Feeders and Assembly parts: ?Promote continuous routing updates to capture cost improvements and productivity ?Verify drawing structure vs. Mapics and production actual process ?Production STD deviation control and accountability. ?Prepare BS reconciliations relating to inventory and inventory reserves (excess and obsolete). ?Lead systems implementation and upgrades; making recommendations for process improvement. ?Promote an atmosphere of continuous improvement. ?Perform annual cost roll process to establish
