Senior Developer

Job Description Summary We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our company. Under the general supervision of the Application Developer Manager, the Senior Programmer will perform system analysis, design, programming, documentation, task implementation and program maintenance of considerable difficulty in a diverse user environment within a broad framework of standards, policies, and procedures, utilizing current techniques and methodologies. Also, will be responsible for coaching and leading junior programmers. Responsibilities Plans programming projects by confirming program objective and specifications with clients. Accomplishes programming project requirements by coaching and supervising the Junior Programmers. Arranges program specifications by confirming logical sequence and flowcharts; researching and employing established operations. Provide technical assistance, as required, to Junior Programmers and other Information Technology employees, capable of performing any function on installed systems. Works at the highest level of all technical phases of programming; requires a high degree of creative thinking. Documents all phases of the analysis, design, programming, implementation and maintenance of technical projects; creates user documentation for the utilization of on-line systems, reports, procedures, and training materials. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Technical proficiency in relevant languages and development tools. Experience in Software Design, Software Debugging, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Documentation, Software Maintenance, Software Performance Tuning, Software Architecture, and Coaching. Flexibility over working hours to provide occasional support to business functions out of normal working hours. Proven abilities in problem management, process analysis, and root cause analysis. Must be committed to self-development and be enthusiastic about acquiring new skills and embracing new technologies. Must be able to supervise and motivate others. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a complex and mixed team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field is required.
