The primary objective for this position is to lead the growth of existing Core Products Revenues and Contribute with profitable market share gain focused in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. To achieve these goals this position leverages the Product Management Excellence Methodology, which focuses in three main areas of work; Product Development, Product Implementation and Portfolio Management (Sales Support, Performance Improvement and Optimization). This individual works with most of the Mastercard organization functions such as Account Management, Marketing, Advisors and Operations and Technology to design implement and deliver outstanding and differentiated value propositions supported by sound business models. This individual manages and maintains existing core product lines for Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic on an on-going basis: Establishes go-to-market strategy; Portfolio Management: implement incremental improvements within the product's life cycle, conduct ongoing care and maintenance, and manage product P&L; Conducts opportunity assessments on new ideas and concepts; Provides design specifications for product enhancements to Product Development and develops implementation plans with the Customer Delivery Teams This position works closely with the Country Managers to align on market priorities and Consumer products objectives and strategy. As a Product Manager needs to build strong relationships with Regional Product Leaders to leverage their expertise and knowledge on Consumer Credit, Debit, and Prepaid integrated value propositions. Finally, the Product Manager positions herself/himself as an expert on all major value added services that Mastercard adds to the Consumer Core products to enhance the consumer experience, drive brand preference and ensure the safety and security of the transactions. Role Partners with Account Leaders to win new or expand existing businesses by helping to develop compelling business cases and by articulating sound value propositions that differentiate from competition based on deep under stranding of market consumer trends and issuers objectives and strategies. Analyze and monitor each core product performance and identify the potential optimization opportunities for Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic issuers and acquirers. Leads the enhancement of product offerings. Partners with Marketing to design communication strategies and campaigns at segment and product level, aligning on marketing platforms content and execution for all Product line strategies. Responsible for analyzing market share evolution, identifying trends and recommending strategic action plans to capture opportunities or mitigate risks. Monitors the competition, shares findings with Country Manager and partners with other teams to introduce new benefits, features and platforms to drive preference. Monitors the operational and financial performance of key metric targets (Product/Platform Tracking). Conducts and shares financial analysis to identify and execute opportunities to improve Consumer Core Products P&L results. Ensures front-end and back-end cardholder customer experience by periodically testing and leading remediation plans if needed. Leads Consumer Products training for all Mastercard employees in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. Applies market research and conduct opportunity assessments on new ideas and concepts and communicate them to account team and issuers to design compelling, differentiated product benefits by fully leverage all available assets that matters to issuers/card-holders. Prepares and consolidates supporting information and material for quarterly business reviews and recommends Country Managers and Products Director action plans to close objectives gaps. All About You Results driven and disciplined professional with experience and strong preference for working in teams with an agile approach to get things done and in partnership with other teams. Experience in the payments/technology/consumer goods industry in product management, market development, marketing and/or product development. Experience manipulating data and communicating observations, findings and preliminary insights. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics. Contributed to commercial readiness by analyzing and helping manage the collection of competitor market data. Able to clearly create and communicate value stories. Has an ability for clear articulation for a problem and solution. Proficiency in Spanish and English, and in office application tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong Interpersonal skills. Ability to work cross functionally and across levels in a matrix organization. Strong Analytical skills as well as planning and organizational skills. Ability to develop financial analysis (P&L, budget forecast and accrual, etc.) Project management skills.
