We are looking for an outstanding Sales Engineer (SE) professional to join our expanding sales team. Through interactive pre-sales discoveries, you will analyze an organization's needs and demonstrate how the Fluke Accelix technology platform including eMaint's computerized maintenance management software (CMMS), Fluke tools and sensors, Connect2 Assets solutions can address the customer's requirements and solve their business needs. The SE serves as the resident "product and solutions" expert and provides technical resources to the sales team. The SE works closely with sales executives to explain, position, and demonstrate the capabilities of the solution to prospects. The Fluke Digital Systems work environment is agile where there are daily standups and constant communication within each self-managed cross functional team. The ability to communicate effectively with the Sales/Business Development Team and Sales Team, along with all other department leads is key to the success of the role. Responsibilities: Present and articulate advanced product features, benefits, and overall product solutions Design and create technical sales presentations and conduct targeted, custom product demonstrations Adapt and customize presentations to the requirements of a particular opportunity Assist salespeople with trial account configuration to support prospects who are in a managed trial Provide technical sales support and serve as a technical resource to the sales team on product capabilities Provide product training to sales team to ensure they are knowledgeable Assist in responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs Convey customer requirements to Product Management team Ability to travel up to 50% BS/BA desired or equivalent experience 3 years previous experience in a technical or sales support role Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches Must be able to present himself/herself in a professional manner and possess excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple projects Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively Proven ability to demonstrate software solutions and execute successful proof of concept plans Smart, flexible, and likes working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Proactive attitude and quick aptitude for learning new methods, strategies and technologies. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base Knowledge of plant or facility operations a plus SDL2017
