General Description
Applies skills as an experienced professional to ensure the security of cloud-based platforms. Recommends methods and techniques to achieve optimal results and helps establish a culture of security across the organization. Creates processes to support high quality security-operations, with real-time monitoring of security and compliance in cloud-based environments with a global user community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform Cloud security evaluations and Continuous Monitoring processes.
Provide security requirements analysis of cloud architectures and designs.
Conduct cloud security testing to identify weaknesses, technical flaws, and vulnerabilities.
Aligns security deliverables with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements that conforms with security framework and standards.
Establishes processes and procedure for continuous monitoring to allow operational visibility in cloud environments.
Identifies opportunities to reduce risk and documents remediation options regarding acceptance or mitigation of security related scenarios.
Maintains oversight of IT and vendors regarding the security maintenance of their systems and applications.
Serve as SME within IT security projects and perform IT Security operational defined processes.
Promote awareness of applicable regulatory standards, upstream risks and industry best practices across the company.
Participate in pre-defined capacitation trainings defined by the unit.
Minimum Education/Experience
Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Information Systems or related areas.
At least five years of experience in Cloud and/or on-prem Security.
Recommended Certificates
CompTIA SEC+, CCSK, CCSP, CISSP
