General Description Supervises and coordinates work of the employees as well as processes and operations within a particular unit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in establishing unit goals and action plans. Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, assigning and monitoring work to improve effectiveness. Communicate policies, practices, and procedures to employees and ensure compliance. Identifies and resolves problems and inconsistencies, determining appropriate course of actions. Helps develop and monitor budget for cost control. Conducts staff meetings to discuss operational problems or explain procedural changes or practices. Prepare project updates within required timeframe and delegate individual tasks to all employees. Analyze all opportunities and recommend ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Assist staff in managing difficult cases.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises at least 2 full time employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Coach and develop employees. Foster a spirit of teamwork that allows for disagreement over ideas as well as diversity.
Minimum Education
Completed bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
Experience
At least three years of related experience in mortgage servicing and in foreclosure, bankruptcy and FHA claims processes.
