Duties SummaryThis position is located in San Juan, Puerto Rico.Responsibilities The Senior Resident Engineer (SRE) is the on-the-ground team lead for a construction project, typically stationed on site though in some cases manages remotely with regular and recurring site visits. The construction contracts are mostly Design-Bid-Build or Design-Build though there are cases where other contract types could be utilized for construction delivery. Construction and Facilities Management (CFM) is always the owner of the construction project and serves as Construct Agent for most projects, however, CFM does partner with various Non-Department Federal Entity to serve as Construction Agent within both the Leasing and Major construction programs, when required or in the best interest of DVA.Work schedule: Required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
