Support the line of business and staff functions of the company in maintaining Microsoft Windows Server OS and relate application patch concurrency along with audit support, security vulnerability remediation, and other security tool functionality. Job Description: This position is responsible for the communications to the system users/owners, scheduling, deployment, status updates, trouble shooting, console maintenance, reporting and remediation for Microsoft Windows Patch concurrency on a monthly basis as well as related inventory updates. Additional responsibilities will include the following: Support for Pre-Audit, Audit and Post-Audit data collections and related identified corrective efforts to address findings. Working client service related request for addressing non-compliant corrective actions or projects. (May require off hour commitments) Problem investigations into root cause and corrective actions. Various operational and functionality remediation of the deployed standard security tools such as Anti-Virus and vulnerability mitigation software. Remediation of assigned operational vulnerabilities on a monthly basis along with weekly progress status for all assigned open issues. A commitment to process improvement and the communications of such items to management. Embrace and adhere to Change Control process for all work efforts that directly or indirectly modify or impact production systems. Work to complete system generated or user reported problem tickets related to compliance issues. On-Call Rotation for off-hour issue coverage and resolution efforts. Cross team communications and work efforts with Auditors, CAMs (Compliance Assurance Managers), Security Staff, team members, and LOS (Line of Service) Leads/Management. Attend team meetings as directed by management and if required customer facing meetings. Qualifications Required Minimal Experience: At least 3 years for work experience with maintaining a large scale multi-domain global Wintel Server infrastructure. Hands on experience in Windows Server Configuration modification and software updates. Experience with the installation of OS patch deployment processes other than WSUS. Required Skills: Ability to work as a team member as well as independently. A functional working knowledge of Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008r2, and 2012r2 and the ability to apply that knowledge to address operation requirements. Ability to install and uninstall system changes and configuration modifications along with testing to verify full functionality. Qualified candidates should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong critical thinking, organizational skills and an orientation to deadlines and detail. Ability to respond well under pressure. Strong skills in use of information systems, Excel and Microsoft Word. Review and understand the Client's and internal IT policies.
