General Description Provide through the phone and/or walk-in customers, guidance on insurance products and services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide an extraordinary customer service. Answer customer calls from a call center and assist walk-in clients. Provide general orientation about insurance products, policies, payments, collections, among others. Provide copy of policies and endorsements. Analyze client needs and make decisions to solve the situations immediately. Evaluate different alternatives for the client. Ensure the retention and growth of the client portfolio through outbound calls. Comply with the assigned work schedule and with the measurement requirements. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education Bachelor's Degree Experience Two (2) years of experience in customer service functions. Knowledge in insurance, preferably. Other Qualifications Excellent customer service approach and focus. Proficiency in English and Spanish, both oral and written. Ability to identify problems and needs of the client, offer alternatives and solve them. Ability to identify sales opportunities with the purpose of offering various popular products and services. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work as a team and collaborate with others to achieve common goals. Ability to handle difficult situations with clients. Ability to establish priorities and work with multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency. Domain in the use of computers and the keyboard. Domain of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Availability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays. This position requires working sitting and using telephone equipment.
